Terms of Service

Applies to: Shashot and Shot Trainer

Article 1 [Purpose]

These Terms govern the rights, obligations, and responsibilities between Underpara Lab Co., Ltd. (the "Company") and Users in using the Shashot and Shot Trainer applications and related services (collectively, the "Service") provided by the Company.

Article 2 [Definitions]

1. Company — a virtual place of business operated by Underpara Lab Co., Ltd. to provide goods or services to Users using information and communication facilities.
2. User — any person who accesses the Site or App and uses the Service under these Terms.
3. Site — websites operated by the Company, including underparlab.com.
4. App — the Shashot and Shot Trainer mobile applications operated by the Company.
5. Paid Service — features provided by the Company for a fee, including Shashot's AI-based trajectory measurement and prediction video production, and Shot Trainer's swing/posture analysis.
6. Standard / Premium — subscription tiers of the Paid Service, offering different feature sets.
7. Cancellation of Subscription — the User cancels a recurring Paid Service subscription and stops using it.
8. Product — a product sold by the Company by combining the Paid Service with other items.
9. Effects (Filters) — a feature that adds effects when producing videos. Includes free content and paid content provided as "points."
10. Terms not specifically defined herein are governed by relevant laws and service-specific guidance; otherwise, general commercial practice shall apply.

Article 3 [Specification, Effect, and Revision of the Terms]

1. These Terms are effective for all Users wishing to use the Service.
2. The Company posts the company name, representative name, address, phone number, email, business registration number, mail-order business report number, and data protection officer.
3. Before a User agrees to these Terms, the Company provides a separate screen or pop-up so the User can understand important content such as refund conditions.
4. The Company complies with applicable laws, and these Terms may be revised within the scope permitted by law.
5. When revising these Terms, the effective date and reasons will be announced at least 7 days before the effective date. For changes unfavorable to Users, notice will be provided at least 30 days in advance.
6. A User who does not explicitly object to revised Terms by the effective date is deemed to have agreed. Users who do not agree may request membership withdrawal.
7. Matters not specified herein are governed by the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce and related laws.

Article 4 [Conclusion of Service Purchase Agreement]

Users may purchase the Paid Service through the Company's Site or App. When a User pays for the Paid Service via Apple or Google in-app purchase (IAP), the sale price or refund amount may differ from the Site under App Store policies.

Article 5 [Provision and Change of Services]

1. The Company provides the following: information and conclusion of purchase contracts, online services, community services, Shashot's trajectory video production, and Shot Trainer's swing/posture analysis.
2. The Company may change the contents of the Service when it is sold out or technical specifications change.
3. When the contents change, the reason will be sent to an address where the User can be notified immediately.
4. The Company will compensate Users for damages suffered as a result, unless the Company proves there was no intent or negligence.

Article 6 [Service Suspension]

1. The Company may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, inspection, replacement, breakdown of equipment, or interruption of communication.
2. The Company compensates for damages caused by temporary suspension unless there was no intent or negligence.
3. If the Service cannot be provided due to business conversion or discontinuation, the Company will notify Users and provide compensation accordingly.
4. The Company may convert free services to paid services for company policy or operational reasons, with no separate compensation provided.

Article 7 [Membership Registration]

1. Users complete registration by entering their membership information and agreeing to these Terms.
2. The Company may refuse registration or revoke membership later if the applicant previously lost membership, provided false information, made omissions or typos, if registration would impede the Company's technology, or if the applicant is under 14.
3. The service use agreement is established when the Company approves the use request.
4. Users may not use another person's account without permission and must provide accurate and complete information.
5. The Company may require challenge service users to verify their identity to convert deposits or prize money to cash.

Article 8 [Withdrawal of Membership, Loss of Qualification]

1. Membership is maintained from registration to withdrawal. Users may request withdrawal through the Service, and the Company processes such requests within 5 business days.
2. The Company may restrict or suspend membership if: false information is registered; payments are not made on time; the User threatens e-commerce order; the User violates laws or these Terms; inappropriate posts are made; verbal abuse or harassment toward customer service; or unauthorized affiliation claims are made.
3. Withdrawal from outside the app — to withdraw outside the App, send your registered email or user ID and the target app (Shashot or Shot Trainer) to support@underparlab.com.

Article 9 [Payment and Refund]

1. The Company offers payment methods through the Site or App including credit card, mobile payment, bank transfer, and in-app purchase (IAP).
2. Under the Act on Consumer Protection in Electronic Commerce, Users may withdraw their subscription within 7 days of payment. However, if the content has already been consumed or its value has objectively decreased, withdrawal may be limited.
3. Refunds for IAP-based payments follow Apple App Store / Google Play policies.
4. Subscription products renew automatically unless cancelled before the next billing date; the already-paid period is not refundable.

Article 10 [Account and Data Deletion]

1. In-app deletion — Users can delete their account directly via [My Page] → [Settings] → [Delete Account] in the Shashot or Shot Trainer app.
2. Out-of-app deletion request — send an email to support@underparlab.com with the subject "Data Deletion Request."
3. Processing time — we will complete deletion within 30 days from receipt of your request and notify you of the outcome.

Article 11 [Intellectual Property]

1. Intellectual property rights in the Service and its components (software, design, text, images, AI models, etc.) belong to the Company or rightful owners.
2. Copyright in videos and content created by Users via the Service belongs to the User. The Company may use such content within a reasonable scope for Service operation and promotion (with separate consent obtained when required).

Article 12 [Disclaimer and Dispute Resolution]

1. The Company is exempt from liability when it cannot provide the Service due to force majeure, such as natural disasters, war, or communication failure.
2. For disputes arising in connection with these Terms, the Company and User shall resolve them through good-faith consultation; failing that, the competent court under applicable law shall have jurisdiction.

These Terms are effective as of March 21, 2024.
